I got all of these items at Target-cheap but not crappy either.
- Foam mattress pad for their rack
- sheets
- a nice pillow (you could spray the pillow case with your perfume)
- air freshener (if you use a specific scent at home, send that)
- blanket
- pictures
- some of their favorite snacks
- a big fluffy towel and wash cloth
- plastic utensils
- tooth picks
- disposable plates,cups and bowls
- small detergent packages
